Summer Reading Program "Be Creative @ Your Library" began June 11th with 18 children attending. The book "Moo Who? was read and enjoyed by all. We are watching the musical version of "Jack and the Beanstalk" followed by a game of musical chairs and then all the children made tamborines out of tin pie plates."
June 18th there were 24 children in attendance. "Monster, go to bed was this weeks book followed by some more of the movie. We played our own version of the game "Simon Says" and then made a placemat by weaving cardboard paper. Many of the children read 10 books and got to pick prizes out of the treasure chest. I could not do this without help, thank you to Patty Young, Madyson Sittler and Sydney Carr.
